Raw material coming from the field and intended for further processing as seed must be appropriately selected so that it can maintain the parameters required by law and by the customer: the maintenance of purity of varieties and species and high germination force. It is much more difficult to separate seed of the same species, but of different varieties. Very often this is not possible. The movement of the kernels in the transport equipment and inside the cleaning and sorting machines must be very gentle, so that the spores are not damaged and the seeds retain their quality.
